The streets of the town center transform into a massive open-air stage, where music, shows, entertainment, and shops open late into the night create a unique and captivating atmosphere.
On Monday, August 10th, starting from 9:00 PM, the electric lights will turn off completely to make way for an old-world atmosphere. The downtown streets will come alive with roving performances, street artists, fire-eaters, and musicians—all wrapped in a magical silence and a super romantic half-light.
It’s the perfect event to unplug and experience Livigno in a whole new light.
The Heart of the Evening? The Mota Eno-bistrot Terrace!
To experience Notte Nera from a privileged location, join us on the Mota Eno-bistrot Terrace, overlooking the heart of Livigno. The perfect place to enjoy an aperitif, a glass of wine or an open-air dinner while soaking up the unique atmosphere of the event as the streets come alive with performances and entertainment.
From 6:00 PM, we will host a special wine tasting in collaboration with Cantina Barbacàn, one of the most renowned wineries in the Valtellina, celebrated for producing exceptional mountain wines from traditional terraced vineyards. Discover the fresh Rosato 2024 or the distinctive Sol 2023, and experience the authentic flavours of the region.
Each glass will be paired with our Pizòcar, one of Livigno's most traditional dishes. These small dumplings are made from a simple batter of water, flour and milk, dropped into boiling water using a traditional tool that gives them their characteristic shape. They are then sautéed with butter, local cheese, potatoes and caramelised onions, creating a rich and authentic recipe that has been part of Livigno's culinary heritage for generations.
After the tasting, continue your evening strolling through Livigno's streets, illuminated only by candles and the lights of the performances, and experience the enchanting atmosphere of one of the most magical events of the summer.
