Autumn in Livigno has a poetry of its own. It is a special season, transforming our mountains into a palette of warm, enveloping colours, while time seems to finally slow down. Breakfast is a little ritual designed to awaken the senses: the delicate aroma of our homemade cakes meets a rich selection of savoury and premium delights. You can enjoy smoked salmon, eggs prepared to order — scrambled, fried or soft-boiled — or indulge in a delicious Alpine Breakfast with artisan rye bread, local sausage and crispy bacon, the perfect way to recharge before exploring the area.

Step outside the hotel and Livigno welcomes you with the peaceful charm of its woods and panoramic trails. Whether you prefer a relaxing walk or a more active hike, the autumn mountains always know how to create unforgettable moments. And if you love cycling, you can hop on one of our e-bikes and reach some of the most spectacular viewpoints, on your own, as a couple or with the whole family.
Thanks to our strategic location, you never have to choose between nature and town life: after your outdoor adventures, the centre of Livigno awaits you for a few hours of shopping and leisurely strolls among the local boutiques.
When you return to the hotel, relaxation continues in our wellness area
- Aromatic Sauna (60°C): let yourself be enveloped by its regenerating warmth and the soothing aromas of hay, mountain pine and chamomile, perfect for relaxing both body and mind;
- Swimming Pool and Whirlpool: continue your relaxation in our 31°C swimming pool or surrender to the pleasure of the bubbles in our 34°C whirlpool.
Autumn on the plate: our Game Menu
In the evening, the day comes to an end in the intimate atmosphere of Mota Eno-Bistrot, where our cuisine interprets Alpine tradition through a contemporary and refined approach. To celebrate the intense flavours of the season, we have created our special Game Menu – Flavours of the Mountains, a true gastronomic journey through woodland aromas and autumn flavours:
- Field Salad with pomegranate-marinated partridge breast, black truffle and lemon dressing, for a fresh and refined opening;
- Buckwheat Cannellone filled with venison, chestnuts and Scimudin cheese, where the traditional flavours of Valtellina come together in a rich and enveloping combination;
- Venison Rack with cranberry, white turnip and potato rösti, a generous main course capturing the very essence of the mountains;
- Buckwheat tempura apples served with cinnamon frozen dessert, the perfect way to end dinner with a crisp and aromatic note.
A gastronomic experience accompanied by a carefully selected wine pairing featuring some of the finest labels from the region.

As we say goodbye to autumn, our gaze is already turning towards the snow-covered peaks! On November 6th, Hotel Mota will officially reopen its doors to welcome the new winter season.
